Trinket: Strange Talking Potato

描述
Isaac found this strange looking potato on the ground. It tells him he should start thinking with portals... Whatever it means.


STRANGE TALKING POTATO

Type: Trinket

Effects:
* While holding, portal to The Void have 100% chance to open after Mom, It Lives, The Lamb or Blue Baby.
* Portals (Enemy) and Lil Portals will be erased from entire run

Notes: It can't open portals after Mother and Mega Satan fight. These fight are sadly bugged:
- Mega Satan is hardcoded to always have 50% chance to spawn portal to The Void. Any changes in this behavious results in blocking Mega Satan unlocks after beating him for the first time.
- While portal after The Mother fight can be opened, Delirium trying to change into this boss spawn ending chest even at 100% hp.


Should be compatible with External Item Descriptions and Encyclopedia.


Obvious Portal 2 reference.

Golden version/Mom's Box interaction:

While entering The Void holding this trinket, Isaac will be rewarded with Rune of Dagaz, XIX - The Sun card and Ventricle Razor active item. Even more Portal references, yay!

With repentance plus this trinket is kinda obsolete now since portals always spawn after Mega Satan, Lamb and Blue Baby (tho it's not 100% after Mom or It Lives, but you have no reason to go to void that early with guaranteed portal after you clear Chest or Dark Room so you can stock up on items.) removing Portals (Enemy) and Lil Portals is neat but very niche

a revamp of this item in light of the above could be cool but I doubt we'll see it

Hey, just letting you know that the creator of the Runs Continue Past Mother mod managed to solve the "delirium turns into mother" issue by lifting a piece of code from TBoI: Revelations, preventing Delirium from trying to turn into Mother. You might want to replicate their solution too!

I did few test and everything is alright, I guess problem is in your side, maybe it collide with other mod you have?
