Cloudspire (All Content, Improved and Scripted!)

描述
Welcome to Cloudspire on Tabletop Simulator
What's included?

Currently, in this mod you will find all current gameplay minus the extra scenarios from the second book. Specifically that is:

- The base game including the factions: Brawnen, Grovetenders, Heirs and Narora. As well as solo and co-op scenarios for all these factions.
- Portal Seekers (A gameplay expansion adding in new tiles, relics, events, market chips, landmark chips and anomaly mode).
- Griege Faction Expansion
- The Uprising Faction Expansion
- Horizon's Wrath Faction Expansion
- Hero's Bounty (a set of extra Relic and Event cards)
- All Promo Chips
- Custom faction: Whisperer by Broxigar

Scripting you say? What's currently scripted?

Currently this mod can do the following:

- Initial setup of PVP mode
- Initial setup of Solo mode
- Initial setup of co-op mode

All of the above entail making selections on the custom UI on which expansion content you would like to use and then clicking setup to have the game shuffle everything together in your desired configuration

~Note 1: this scripting will currently only work once, it is therefore advised to make a fresh save of the game when you first subscribe so you can reload that save any time you want to setup a new instance of the game.
~Note 2: If you lose the setup screen, you can find a button in the top right of the screen to re-open it labelled setup

- WIP Chip base which can read chips and display interactive stats to remove the need for making stacks of chips in a clunky TTS environment. This is a WIP piece and bugs are likely, if you would like to test it out you will find the Chip Base in a bag on the top right of the table.

Updates:
23/08/2022: Added custom faction section, including Broxigar's "The Whisperer" Faction.
5/05/2024: Fixed issues with Brawnen spires file location. Swapped hotkeys for fortification and ranged upgrade chips.
17/08/2024: Added first round of Denzarki's changes to the mod, primarily focused on improvements to the chips and including descriptions for talents when hovering over a chip. See change log for full details, as it's too long to include here
3/10/2024: Reworked faction selection for players and AIs, now uses a custom faction selection board that players can spawn in directly from their player area. Also, you can now reset the setup of your pieces, or AI pieces. Included Cloud Spider, Crosspire and Claus Spire promo chips.
16/10/2024: Added both player and AI talent description text to moused-over chips.

Known Issues:

The WIP Chip Base is now in the game, it is usable however there are still bugs with it so use at your own risk, some of the current issues are as follows (aswell as not all the planned features are in the game yet):

- * After clicking OK on the dialog once (after dropping a minion onto a minion for grouping), sometimes the next minion chip you drop onto the top of the stack will not give you the dialog and will automatically add the chip, if this happens and you didn't want it to you can just click remove top chip.

- ** Due to the unique nature of Elfinkaze, they are currently not supported with the chip base and will be treated like a minion and group on top, if you select "no" to grouping with an Elfinkaze it may seem like the problem is resolved, however when you cause the chip to move it might retrigger the dialog asking you if you want to group it again, this will be addressed in the future

- If you save the game with a chip on the chip base it will error on load (this is now fixed in a later version coming soon)

- Any pieces which you took out of a bag, so spire minis mostly, won't be properly un-setup. Any of your own pieces that got put in a bag and then removed from said bag also won't be un setup, as their internal IDs will have changed. Just delete them manually.

Other issues
- The left button on the Fortress tracker chips is black and flashes the correct colour when pressed
- If you save the game and the fortress tracker chips are flipped, the buttons will disappear on load, they will be in the correct orientation so make a note of the number they are on and then flip the chip twice to get the numbers back. You may then have to rotate back into its rightful position (a work around is to not use the tracker chips and use the counters instead but i think its a minor issue) this was an early proof of concept and will be improved in the future

Happy to see people are interacting with and saying good things about the chip base i was working on last year.. I unfortunately had massive autistic burnout, I'll maybe see if i can get back into the groove soon and finish off the work.. i think it was actually finished in my local copy but i was midway through cleaning it up.. unfortunately my old laptop senpaku'd so not sure if i still have that save file.. i will have to have a dig

Fantastic job on this! However, is there an easier way of inserting the dice and disc trackers on the faction fortress? Unless I decrease then increase size, they tend to not fit and tilt instead.

They are indeed supposed to be limited!

First, thanks for a great mod.

I've been playing around with the WIP chip, taking into account the current list of issues, and I have to say it's a game changer. I had found Cloudspire to be particularly obnoxious on TTS, making the piles are a chore and trying to remove a bottom chip is just a massive pain. So very much looking forward the next iteration.

One question: would it be possible to make the the spire chips (armor, range and attack) infinite the way health is? It makes it a lot easier to just delete the chip when removing it rather than pulling it back to the original pile. Although as I'm writing this, I am now wondering if those components are supposed to be limited... (I certainly never run up to the limit in solo mode) Thanks!

Tet: The Chip Base thing is Denzarki's contribution to the mod, looking through the code there's just missing functions for increasing/decreasing attack. I can look into fixing it myself some time, but it might be a couple of weeks as I'm quite busy at the moment! You can just use the traditional chips for now.

I do have a question. Is there a way to edit the hero stats when they are one the chip tray? Like can you increase the attack and range and stuff like that? There is a attack +/- button but we get an error when clicking it. SOmething about the attackplus not being a function

This is incredible work, great job! I eagerly await the chip base update because that thing improves this playability of this game on TTS a ton. The chips are a godsend in the real version and a nightmare in the virtual one lol

This is absolutely superb. Thank you so much.

Tristan: Thanks for your help (and the compliments to my cat :D)!

CC: I still can't find any problems, and most of the chips are on a few common sheets. I really have no idea what to suggest :(

Caras: Hello! And you're welcome! I like your cat avatar! To change the default rotation angle press the button with a number and the degree symbol at the right hand side of your top button bar. It'll be next to the person lifting weights, if it's set to 90 degrees you can adjust it all the way down to 15 degrees. 60 will keep it aligned with the grid, if you prefer that!
