Ju88 - A1 Dive Bomber [DLC]

The Ju88 was a dive bomber in service with the Luftwaffe during WW2. It was designed in the 1930s as a schnell-bomber (fast bomber) that would be too fast for contemporary fighters to catch. However by the time it entered service the fighters of the day were more than fast enough to kep up. The Ju88 saw significant modification into a myriad of roles required of it during the war, including dive-bomber, tank hunter, and even fighter. The Assembly line ran continuously from 1936 to 1945 creating over 15,000 of the aircraft. Ju88s saw service in every theatre of the war from the eastern front to bombing allied battleships in Norway.
