Surface Meltdown - Puzzle Edition

描述
A playable version of "Surface Meltdown"! This fantastic map was originally made by Tewan & Mystical Ace for the 'Thinking with Portals' mapping competition "Picture Perfect".

This puzzle edition allows you to explore almost every area that was not accessible before. I also wanted to keep the design and atmosphere as close as possible to the original map.
As a result, any difference or new setup is made for the purpose of the puzzles; and can be considered as a clue :)
The puzzles are for experienced players, but no ninja moves, nor throwing of cube etc, are necessary!

The 3 things you should know before playing :

1. By exploring a little, you may find 2 secret passages, as well as 7 Crystals that can be collected. 2 of the Crystals are to be found in the first area (Indoor). When you leave that Indoor area you cannot come back later; so don't forget to search for those 2 Crystals before leaving to the Ravine area :)

2. The next area (Outdoor) is the Ravine area. The Bottom of the ravine is an additional area that you need to reach via an elevator (not by jumping or you'll die!)

3. If you wonder how to reach a high light bridge when you have nothing to climb on : jump & shoot will do.

I made it.

I found 5 crystals.

I don't know why but I can't seem to play this anymore? As in it isn't "downloading correctly". I was wondering if there's anything you know I can do about this? No worries if not :)

Yes I see what you mean. To retrieve the cube and the light bridge is essential indeed.
Have a look from 8:20 in the video solution for part 2 (here above in the description); to see how you can get back to the light bridge room without using the secret passage.
(I'm not saying that it's more obvious that way, but jumping down on the beams is working fine :p
Thank you for this interesting comment! I might increase the visibility of the secret passage in a future update. (but it still have to stay "secret"...)

Yes by "secret" I meant secret passages... not the crystals (I found 2 purely by accident but didn't really pay attention to those). And on the former, I beg to differ. The concealed passage/shortcut that leads back to the light bridge room is absolutely essential to making it possible to cross the chasm to the exit. And that one is really well hidden.
