MAZ-537

MAZ-537 is a heavy-duty four-axle truck tractor of high cross-country ability for the needs of the Soviet Army, developed by SKB-1 of the Minsk Automobile Plant, chief designer - BL Shaposhnik. It was originally intended for the transportation of bulky cargo such as armored vehicles on paved and off-road roads. Serially produced by the Kurgan Wheel Tractor Plant since 1963, continuing to bear the MAZ marking. The second generation of tractors was developed in Kurgan and these machines were called "KZKT".

In addition to being used in the army, tractors worked in the national economy, transporting large-sized indivisible cargo. Also, the tractor was exported to a number of countries around the world.
