[WOTC] Barracks Status Display

描述
What is this?
This is a simple little mod that changes the single long line of soldier status in the hangar to a compact block. This issue really becomes apparent with Covert Infiltrations improved display message for where your soldiers are.

Also adds a barracks status display on the Geoscape, can be turned off in the configs if you wish. The title on the Geoscape Display will change colour based on the barracks status.
  • Green is >= 6 soldiers Ready
  • Yellow is < 6 Ready, but people active doing things
  • Red is < 6 Ready and no-one doing anything, at least one wounded
  • Grey is anything not in the above (?!)
The box on the Geoscape also has a shortcut {?} Icon that you can click on to bring up the Living Quarters Crew List, which displays detailed crew information.
For controller users, this button can be selected by Press & Hold of the R3 (Right Stick Click) button.

Config Options
It wouldn't be a 'RustyMod' without some would it?
XComGame.ini contains all the options I have here which involves choosing text colours and making it a compact block (default) or stacked lines per status display.

Compatibility/Known Issues
None that I know ... Might not work 'correctly' outside of a CI game
It appears that sometimes the avenger tooltip doesn't initialise correctly. I thought I had eliminated this bug in my testing and it seems super rare, but I had a report of the avenger tooltip not sizing correctly in a 2560*1440 resolution until a config clear reset.

Lightweight Strategy Overhaul Resistance/Advisor/Cell shows as "Haven Advisor" ..

Works with LWOTC and CI

Not sure. All the saves from after your update (3) refused to load without a crash. Once I deleted those saves and unsubscribed to your mod it worked. I loaded a save from the day before and it loaded just fine. Checking my mods you had the only update. I honestly cannot see how it would affect them either, but Im not all that good at diagnosing software issues.

The only thing I truly hate about XCOM 2 is how fragile it is, and I seriously believe its mostly XCOM 2 WOTC thats the real problem. XCOM 2 seemed to work a lot better. You would think after 8 years Firaxis would drop a decent fix.

I'm really sorry to hear that, but there shouldn't have been anything in the change of this mod that should affect game saves.

What issues are you seeing? do they persist without the mod?

I have to as Rusty, what went into your update today, September 15th? It killed my save games as far as I can tell.

I understand that adding the tooltip would be difficult, damn, I tried to do my own fix for the controller support on this mod and I found that too difficult.

I am already subscribed to some of your mods, I will check if I can subscribe to some more and I will happily report to you back if I found controller issues.

That is amazing that you bought a controller to make your mods more controller friendly, thanks a lot for that. There is a lot of people that does not care too much about controller support.

Yeah, tooltip in the nav help would be nice, but there isn't a "Push & Hold" R3 button icon.. and honestly adding stuff to existing game UI is often too much hassle for little gain.
However I've added the suggestion to the 'to-do' list.

Please let me know if you come across any other of my mods with broken controller, um, controls. I do try to set them where possible and I brought myself a PC gamepad controller JUST for testing XCom2 mods, lol ..

It works perfectly!

In the future, it would be nice to show a tooltip in the Geoscape to show people that this feature is available. For now, I think that adding that to the description of the mod is enough.

Thanks.. I swear I checked it.. lol... I'll update with a button that I find spare, the Geoscape is a horrible screen for adding new controller assignments tbh... nearly every button is already in use

Hi Rusty I did not know about the LWOTC using SELECT, I use CI. The SELECT button is used to toggle the resitance network view. If I push the R3 button, the camera is centered on the Avenger; this feature comes from vanilla. I tried maintaining the R3 pressed or by pressing it multiple times, and it only does the camera center on the Avenger. Maybe the D-Pad could be used for that? I tried, and it does nothing in the geoscape.
