Shoggoth BYOS Patch

描述
Patches Frackin's BYOS system to work with the shoggoth starting ship, including changing the shoggoth SAIL panel to use FU's interface. Adds recipes for the fuel hatch, captain's chair, SAIL panel, and ship teleporter to the organ lab.

Also adds a new starting model of BYOS ship in the shoggoth style! Look for it under the BYOS ship options.

New Update:
  • Player starts in the Shoggoth T0 ship, rather than starter FU ship
  • Fixed persistant ship background bug
  • Added "bed" tag to shoggoth beds so they work with deeds

@HipsterCthulu Thank you! I have all the code for this mod up on GiyHub here: https://github.com/Runchimchar/shoggoth-byos-patch . It's been a HOT minute since I touched either of these two mods, but the main things for patching in a new ship are to add the ship "dungeon" file to the frackinships folder, and patch the universe_server.config file to make the race's default ship the default FU BYOS ship.

How did you patch this? I'm just curious because I have a ship that I'd like to patch in myself, but don't know where to begin.... any pointers? Great job btw!

shoggoths are indeed lovecraftian in origin

@middleton42014, this mod doesn't actually add any shoggoth-related content, it just aims to fix a bug that happens when the original shoggoth mod is installed with FU. Both FU and the shoggoth mod can be enjoyed separately without this! (Also, I think the shoggoths are Lovecraft-related)

This actually exists. a shoggoth mod but needs FU compatibility thats a skill is... nah the shoggoth mod is probably related to DnD.

I know this doesn't directly relate to the BYOS, but seeing as this is a patch between Frackin and Shoggoths, any chance you can do anything about the nutrient paste dispenser? It technically works, but it's been "eating" my FU materials if I try to fill it without dumping said materials in storage first!

@Magenta Lizard I added that along with the other Shoggoth racial traits and it comes built-in with FU, though I don't know if it's on the wiki or anything. The source code that adds the tech is here. [github.com] Shoggoths are immune to the Insanity debuff, but since the debuff can actually have some uses, the tech drains food to give you those effects. It's been a while since I touched any of that code, though. Is something breaking?
