The HIRCS Series are ships designed around a set of ships found drifting from another system with all crew having abandoned ship. While the on board computer details information regarding another of sapient species that were at odds with humanity where it was from, there has been no such contact in this system. Currently R&D specialists have simply recreated the technology from the source ships but given the amount of damage sustained, they are currently looking into advancing it in the event the hostile species finds their way to the local system.

As a patrol cruiser, this ship is armed but not designed for long term engagements. Sporting 6 simple hangars, 3 on each side, and a landing pad on the bottom for ground vehicles allows this ship to function as a low yield carrier or troop transport.

Atmo capable with JD system on board allows this vessel to operate on planet or in space with equal ease.
