描述
The Nordenfelt IV submarine was a submersible created by Mr Nordenfelt in 1887. It used a coal engine and fired one whitehead torpedo. It could be used fully submerged by using the residual pressure and momentum of the boilers to move for just a few minutes submerged. Consider using a faster tug to get the boat into position as it doesn't have much legs!

This is a submarine inspired by its design. It is not completely accurate.

- Steam Engine Setup
- 1 Torpedo
- Capable of Underwater Travel
- Detailed Interior
- Coal Bunkers with Doors
- Observation Turret (Periscopes were yet to be invented)
- Simple Radio (Not invented yet but why not :)

How to use:

- Start coal engines
- Allow to come to temperature and turbine to spin up
- Use clutch for forward motion
- To submerge, flood the tanks
- Use W/S to control depth
- The turbine has residual momentum and pressure, use this for motion underwater (as in the original Nordenfelt design)
- This will give you some time, a few minutes at best underwater with power
- Surface to pressurise the turbine again

Update 1:

- Added Float Valve to prevent water ingress to engine
- Changed torpedo to more aesthetic variant
- Updated some interior details
- Updated some exterior details
- Added bilge pumps to each room

Update 2:

- Added Snorkel
- Added Depth Hold
- Increase engine run time after submerging

glad your liking it man. I am turning my attention away from subs atm, but might try a larger coal power sub at some point, similar in size to the SDV variant
