Operation Extended Reach

In this randomly generating mission, built for up to fifteen players, said players will patrol the Mekong river and complete direct action objectives including placing spiked ammo crates, assassination of high value targets and destruction of enemy assets.

While the objectives remain the same throughout each playthrough, the objective areas are chosen at random and span the length of the Mekong river and Mekong Delta.

The mission uses a robust dynamic spawning system that should ensure unique gameplay in each playthough, as well as maintaining solid performance. It includes enemy vehicles and boats, random patrols along the river, tree snipers, enemy traps as well as a civilian presence both on the water and in villages.

Respawn and reinsert is handled by a custom AI heli-insert system, controlled by the RTO role.

While it was designed for multiplayer it can be played in a hosted LAN, just zeus yourself in a squad and you're good to go!

Finally, while this is not the first mission I've created it is the first mission I've published, so go easy. It may get updated at some stage in the future if there are any glaring faults.

SITUATION:
The Mekong Delta and Mekong River are heavily occupied by Viet Kong forces with the river being used to reinforce the enemy all along its banks.

FSB Quan Loi was established, at great cost, several miles up-river from the Mekong Delta in order to provide a staging area and base of fire to disrupt the Viet Kong supply chain.

Heathen SOG, based out of FSB Quan Loi, has been directed to conduct direct action activities along the Mekong River. They have been issued a 'Nasty' Class River Boat to assist in their mission.
