From (one of) the creators of the IPECAC Community Mod, a scrapped idea many requested to come back, now in standalone form:
Reworked curse of the blind
No longer feel the frustration of being entirely clueless as to what in the world you're going to take. Now, you can at least make out the silhouette of the item you're about to pick. Is you knowledge of the game good enough?

This feature might eventually be incorporated in some way on IPECAC's Repentance release, but, until then, you can enjoy it ahead of time and completely unrestrained.
A version exclusive for Tainted Isaac is coming soon™

This mod is fantastic, sadly not updated.
This should be vanilla Curse of the Blind, it adds skill to the most unfair curse.

I love this mod, but I'm sad that the latest Repentance+ update breaks it. The new item description feature tells you what the blacked out items are, which basically removes the curse completely. I liked the fun of trying to figure out what the silhouette was. It still left you with some challenge. None of this is the mod's fault, though. It's still a great idea. It'd be nice if the mod was updated to account for item descriptions, but I'm not holding my breath.

the silhouettes dont show in the alt path for me. Any fixes?

it says "curse of the blind silhouettes" not just "blind" sihouettes

yall need to stop trying for alt route silhouettes that removes the entire function of the alt path, functionally the reason to go alt paths is to mulligan ♥♥♥♥♥♥ items and if you knew what it was it wouldnt be a mulligan. being able to see the blind polyphemus makes decisions easy and the entire point is that its a decision

oh now i understand "alt paths", this mod works only on the main routes, not in downpour and dross. Almost lost my mind on trying to find out which one of my mods is blocking Blind Silhouette from appearing. The idea itself is good tho, but i wish it would work on the "alt paths" aswell
