Cessna 408

The Cessna 408 SkyCourier is a twin engined turboprop aircraft and was released 2020 by Textron Aviation. The plane was designed to meet FedEx Express recuirements but it can also be used to transport people. This is that version.

HOTAS:

If you plan on using HOTAS select the pilot seat and change the up/down axis to reset.

Range: Ca: 305 km
Speed: 120 knt
Wingspan: 21.75 m
Length: 16.75 m
Fin height: 6.75 m
Weight: 3.35 tonnes

Startup and takeoff:

- Main electric > on [located under the left monitor]
- Avionics > on
- Seatbelt and No Smoking signs > on (optional)
- Flip all four light switches located attached to the roof
- Collective > 0 [up/down arrow]
- Engine > on [located to the right of the yoke]
- Throttle > 0.5 [located above engine button]
- Brakes off > on [located above engine button]
- Collective > 0.5
- Taxi to runway
- Flaps > on [located to the left of the engine button] (optional)
- Collective > 0
- Throttle > 1
- Collective > 1
- Pitch up at around 70 knt
- Flaps > off
- Landing lights > off

Landing:

Remember when landing to not go under ≈75knt because you will stall.
Also, only use the brakes as parking brakes. I would not recommend landing with them on.

Additional features:

G1000 NXi glass cockpit:
The Cessna 408 features a G1000 NXi glass cockpit [or at least my best try at it]
with a map and two artificial horizons.

CURC:
Under the map there is an interactable CURC

Autopilot:
Use the large keypad to enter the coordinates of your
waypoint then press [1]

Altitude hold:
Use the small keypad to enter the desired altitude then
press [2]

Automatic heating:
Self explanitory

Transmit comms:
By pressing [4] you transmit your voice to the channel selected at the keypad in the cockpit.
You will also recive audio on the selected chanel.

Stall Warner:
If you're stalling a buzzer will trigger
You can also test it by pressing [6]

Low fuel warner:
In you have under 10% fuel left a buzzer will trigger
You can also test it by pressing [5]

Stormlink Compatible:

I've also made it Stormlink compatible (probably, i just named the seats so i hope it is compatible..)
