Description:

Are you tired of making staircases? Me too. Use this instead. Please read the LCD attached to the blueprint and watch the video to see how to paste it in. The elevator is a self contained system with power (reactor) and timers built in.

DOES THIS WORK ON SHIPS?
- Per my tests, yes and it doesn't cause phantom forces. If you are actively maneuvering however, there is an increased likelihood that the elevator will fall off.

Know Issues:
- DON'T press the Call button until the elevator stops moving!
- The non-scripted version is less reliable, and can be more jumpy, I'd recommend using a passenger seat with it.

It works when I paste it in creative, but when I make it in survival it doesnt even try to run.

could this work for an inch worm?
Is there a weight limit , say you have a bigger plattform in front of that elevator for large grid ships to be carried up and down, would that cause any forseeable issues?

I tried to make an elevator on a large grid. Even in a single game, large rotors create problems -
they twist, explode and break pistons.I have not been able to defeat these bugs. I also tried to replace the rotors with connecting blocks, but they have too long a response time for smooth operation of the elevator. Everything works fine on a small grid, thanks to BlackArmor for a great idea.

Changed the timer delay to move it to the required height and it worked perfectly, but it broke after loading the save, Started going like only 3-4 pistons up and down and I can't figure out how to reset it

Funny idea, what about using merge blocks instead of rotors?

Hello, i am having an issue in which the elevator only goes up by one piston and then does not work. Is there some way to fix this?
