What is different between this and the Pale Sky mod?
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2786364343
In other words, the mods are compatible in the sense that they do not interact at all. However, if you're looking for a particular type of star, you may find them appearing almost never or sporadically in tight groups, since potentially already-rare star types are being given lower chances to appear.
Not only does it make it a bit easier to navigate nearby stars, but this could make the universe feel a bit more unsettling by making each star feel much more distant & isolated.
But I have a question about how it works with mods that add star systems in the game.
I already know that it's compatible with Project Ancient Cosmos (the black hole systems in the 2nd image,) but when it comes to TrueSpace & Frackin' Universe, it's reasonable to ask if they're compatible with your mod.
From what I can tell, the game only searches systems within a certain distance of your position; if there aren't valid positions within the search area, it will be searching forever.
As you might know from other mods, installing more possible planets and star systems decreases the probability that there will be a valid system within the search area.
I know of two ways around this problem: Firstly, you can delete your universe, and hope that you'll have better luck with the newly-generated one. Alternatively, you can uninstall this mod to allow greater density in the search area, generate the Station, then reinstall this mod.
It's also possible that traveling extremely far will update the search area, but I've yet to confirm this.
