描述
Plan the future of the O-Train and connect Canada's capital city through road and rail.

-

Since the 1980s, Canada's capital has relied on the buses of the Ottawa Transitway for rapid transit. The first line of the O-Train opened in 2001 with diesel-powered trains as a pilot project to repurpose existing railway lines into transit service to supplant the Transitway, with plans to expand it into a full light rail network.

A second line began construction in 2013 and opened in 2019 with electric trains; the east-west Confederation Line (red) is currently the O-Train's only active line, serving over 150,000 riders daily. The original north-south route (renamed the Trillium Line, green) is closed for expansion and set to reopen in the coming years. Ottawa's future transit plans include converting additional transit infrastructure to light rail, with two additional lines yet to be named. The neighboring city of Gatineau has plans for its own LRT system, which may connect to the O-Train later on in the future.

-

Features
- Cross the Rideau River to connect downtown Ottawa, and expand further across the Ottawa River into Gatineau.
- Road into rail: your starting three lines are BRT routes, while each additional line is an LRT route. (For the inverse, try Calgary.)
- Decide between additional locomotives and buses each week. Locomotives can only run on LRT lines, while buses can only run on BRT lines. Buses are smaller and can't use carriages, but are more frequent.

Achievements
- Presto: Deliver 800 passengers in Ottawa.
- Take the Au Train: Reach week ten in Ottawa.

one of my favorite workshop maps. I really like having metro lines for major routes, with three bus lines to manage the rest
