A-140 Mallard

Twin engine amphibious aircraft with STOL capabilities. Features a more classic steam gauge cockpit design, currently the aircraft lacks automation, but is stable enough in flight that controls can be left unattended most of the time assuming proper trim is used. This aircraft is also Stormlink compatible with a capacity of 20 and is effective at reaching all locations with relative ease and efficiency.

Takeoff from ocean procedure:
1. Set Prop Pitch(Ocean) to 1.00 this is located to bottom left of pilot
2. Activate the Amphibious power setting located in the front of the controls above the pilot
3. Once aircraft lifts out of the water reduce the the Prop Pitch back quickly failure to do so will result in the aircraft crashing keep the power at the higher setting while this occurs
4. Once the climb is complete de-activate the Amphibious Power to resume normal cruise flight.

Power setting: The aircraft begins in a cruise power setting for max fuel efficiency there is a slight reduction in airspeed in exchange for roughly double the range, however if speed is required and range secondary leave the amphibious mode on this feature is also useful in short field takeoff scenarios. Range calculations are for the default cruise mode.

Limitations:
Highly advised that this aircraft not be flown in orange-red wind zones if a landing is to be attempted
If flaps are used make sure to deploy flaps before adjusting throttle, if vise versa done then the aircraft may stall on approach.
