Casertano C212 TwinTurbo

The C212 design was inspired by the original 1966 Maserati Ghibli, but quickly deviated from the Ghibli after the designer realised the smallest deviation surfaces can do in Stormworks is an entire 25 centimeters.

Features
  • 5-speed (+ reverse) manual gearbox with an automatic controller for a more pleasant ride
  • Ability to switch between manual and automatic
  • Twin turbochargers outputting the maximum 10 liters of pressure (uses an electric motor that stops spinning when sport mode is off to save power)
  • A very good looking V12 engine (generates way to much torque, car works much better with current experimental branch wheels)
  • Sport mode button (Gives a boost in performance as well as changing from automatic to manual)
  • 600 liter fuel tank (a consequence of having 12 cylinders)

Owner's Manual
Startup
  1. Make sure gear is at neutral by tapping [s], or by shifting out of reverse [🠕]
  2. Turn ignition key
  3. Disengage parking brake
  4. Accelerate [w]

Reversing
  1. Bring car to a stop
  2. Shift down gears [↓] until gear dial displays (-1)
  3. Accelerate [w]

Engaging Sport Mode
  1. Bring car to a stop [s]
  2. Make sure gear is at neutral by tapping [s], or by shifting out of reverse [🠕]
  3. Make sure parking brake is disengaged
  4. Press sport mode button
  5. Shift into gear [🠕] or [↓]
  6. Accelerate [w]

Actually real looking engine very epic totally not biased but fr very cool 11/10 actually car looking car in Stormworks

Just updated the C212 anyway. I gave it an automatic clutch disengage, but it doesn't seem to stop the gearboxes from breaking when your game physics are running under 60fps. but hopefully it helps a bit anyway. Even if you don't change gears the gearboxes still break which there isn't much I can do about aside from hope the devs fix it.

it honestly might just be the game at the moment, i'm having the same issue with a lot of other vehicles too, all in a new world and only one vehicle spawned at a time.

For now maybe try spawning the car in a fresh save if you really want to try it out, I find lag from other vehicles likes to break gearboxes.

@zonyx,
That sounds like the gearbox is breaking from to much torque, which is very odd since it doesn't happen at all to me or a friend who i used for testing. It used to happen all the time around a month ago, I will look into fixing this issue ASAP.
