Oberon Nuclear Power Generation Station

Another successful project development by Spiff's Practical Engineered Solutions for the Offworld Power Division of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, the Oberon Nuclear Power Generation Station has a combined power output of 1,200 megawatts from four large reactor plants. The facility includes the reactor building, a cooling tower to maintain core operating temperatures at an optimum level, a power generation building, an onsite processing plant for refining uranium ore into enriched ingots for fuel and other ores into materials for repairs and station expansion, and an administration/operations building that includes a planning center, cryogenic bays, a full-featured medical suite with four hospital beds, and crew quarters for 16 crew. (Half the second level is left open for player customization.)
Cryogenic chambers are provided for up to 16 players.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPAWNING AND INSTALLATION

The spent fuel pool under the reactor building needs a clear cylindrical hole in the ground to show properly. This will be accomplished by setting and detonating three warheads in vertical alignment. Due to Space Engineer's inability to simultaneously detonate multiple warheads reliably, you'll need to do one at a time. The last 11 pictures in the series above coupled with the enumerated steps below provide simple step-by-step instructions for properly installing the blueprint.

1. Because of the station's physical size, you'll need a relatively level plot of ground for installation. An ice lake or desert biome is ideal. Too much surface height variation may expose components meant to be underground. Once you've found a suitable place, lay down a series of armor blocks (or scaffolds); I used 25 to ensure the end blocks are always present so my initial reference point is not lost, marking the center block with a contrasting color (red) for easy reference (see Preparation Step 1 picture).

2. Either drill down directly under the center block or enter spectator mode and install 4 armor blocks (or scaffolds) under the center reference block, then install the first warhead under the 4th block (see Preparation Step 2 picture). Detonate the first warhead.

3. Rebuild the surface reference blocks, ensuring that the center reference block is re-established. Install 10 armor blocks (or scaffolds) under the center reference block, then install the second warhead under the 10th block (see Preparation Step 3 picture). Detonate the second warhead.

4. Rebuild the surface reference blocks, ensuring that the center reference block is re-established. Install 16 armor blocks (or scaffolds) under the center reference block, then install the third warhead under the 16th block (see Preparation Step 4 picture). Detonate the third warhead.

5. Rebuild the surface reference blocks, ensuring that the center reference block is re-established. Install 26 armor blocks (or scaffolds) under the center reference block; the 26th block should be embedded in the bottom of the warhead crater. Mark the 8th block from the bottom (19th block from the top under the reference block); this will be your anchor block (marked as red in the Preparation Step 5 picture).

6. Remove all blocks above the previously marked red block (see Preparation Step 6 picture).

7. Spawn in the blueprint and embed it into the planet's surface so it's stable; it doesn't matter where. Go into spectator mode and find the red reference block below the bottom-center of the reactor building (see Preparation Step 7 picture).

8. Move far enough below the grid to enable you to see most of the station; this is important for being able to properly orient the station before pasting it (see Preparation Step 8 picture). Point carefully to the bottom of the red reference block and cut the grid using {Ctrl}-{X}.

9. While still in spectator mode, move over the stack of reference blocks in the warhead crater. Once you've established the correct orientation of the blueprint, paste it using {Ctrl}-{V} to the top reference block (again, shown as red in the Preparation Step 9 picture).

10. Once properly installed, the station should look like the Preparation Step 10 picture from underground.

11. You're done, as shown in the Preparation Step 11 picture. Now go conquer the universe!

FINAL NOTE
The Oberon Nuclear Power Generation Station makes extensive use of sub-grids for its aesthetics and operation. As such, this station is not designed for building in survival with a projector. However, if anyone is interested in that capability, drop me a line.
