SHIP HISTORY
The ALP Future-class vessels of the SX157 design were developed in close collaboration with ALP Maritime.
The vessels are outfitted with DP2 and anchor handling capacity in order to assist during the installation/hook-up phase for the towed objects.
oceangoing tug. With a bollard pull, The vessel is designed for towing very large structures over long distances, such as oil rigs or FPSOs from the building yards to the installation site at the oil field.

Start Up

Go to the wheelhouse and sit in the Captains's seat on the right hand side.
Mid panel - two key switches.
System On and Start Engine
The instrument panel is minimalist for a nice experience.

Draft : 4,00 m
Mass : ~ 93,000
Fuel : 53000 liters
Top Speed: 22 kts (you can increase the speed by setting the MAX value on the lever to 20.. Top Speed = 30 ish KNT)

Equipment:

- There are Two water cannons on top of the bridge - Two touch screens on port side to controll them.
- MOB crane, Can be operated from Bridge and MOB Crane (instrument panel)
- Small Triceps Track crane, Controlled by helm at the crane deck area.
- Helia main crane is controlled from the crane operator seat in the bridge.

- Dynamic positioning (HOW TO USE: To enable the DP, the RPS limiter (lever) and the Throttle from seat must be turned down) - increased battery drainage

Story:

This ship and her sister ship were a culmination of ideas and design between two friends. Mosski reached out to me and asked for help on a project he wanted to start. His idea was to build the ALP AHTS. We collaborated and discussed the design and size. We both loved the idea and decided to make sister ships. And so was born the ALP Keeper and the ALP defender. We continued to bounce ideas off each other and help each other out. The final result is two ships that are different but share many of the same parts and design.

Very nice ship just something that i find sucks about this ship is how the Helm has no way of getting to the diving equipment or welders without having to go outside and flood the ship if you sunk (with the helm still intact)

What is the top speed of the ship as for me it is slow

Alright, I love this boat.. Great detail! But my first experience brought up a few problems. 1. The Auto pilot is aggressive, I plot a course and it will literally sink itself to turn around, I figured "I'll just add cords to turn around" well, that didn't work, every time it reached one of the points it did a 360 on the point before going to the next one.
I reached a bridge, and well.. There is no mast control and it cannot go under those train tracks, found that out after accidentally ramming into the bridge while searching for the mast controller. As soon as I hit the mast the entire ship pretty much burst into flames (Probably one of my mods) but I found out that the life boat isn't much help either. I hit the turn on button on the crane and it literally tossed the boat up in the air and it would not flip right side up.

Once again, lovely boat... Just feels like it needs a bit of touch up.
