This is a tiny tour about the official Steam app, mainly of how I get around.

Click where the red arrows are pointing at to get started.

This is my updated tour of the Steam mobile app.

BTS: I am doing an "Updated" version, because the excellent guides that I fave don't have relevant information or they're not updating.

The Side Bar Profile

Steam Guard - This is one of the most important one out of all the stuff in the mobile app, it's to generate a code. This code is used to log into your Steam account.

Confirmations - This is mainly for trading with people and buying anything higher than $0.99 in the Steam Market to make sure there's no funny business. (There's a very weekend(s) long wait, when one trades or buys).

Chat - This is the Ye Olde chat, it still functions well. Despite it not being flashy as the Steam Chat app (That one is a separate app).

Notifications - This will give alerts whenever there's a new comment, items, invites and gifts.

Store - Here's where the browsing, stuffing the cart (or removing stuff), searching for a particular game, customizing the wishlist, and catching the latest news takes place. This is also where the account details are located at.

Community -

Home - This button will take one to the Community Activity page.

Discussions - Goes to the main Steam Discussion Board

Market - Goes to the Steam Market.

Broadcasts - This goes straight to the Community Activity page that showcases all the gaming broadcasts going on.

You & Friends -

Activity - This shows what you, your friends, Steam curators that you're a part of, and the game companies' feed. For examples, when a sister earns an achievement, a penpal finishes making a guide, or when a game gets updated.

Profile - This will take you to your main Steam profile. The profile mini-tour is in the next chapter.

Friends - Here's where the list of friends, frienemies, and are located.

Groups - Here's the list of curators and groups that you're a part of.

Content - The Content button goes to your the part which contains your screenshots, art, Workshop items, Videos, and mainly your user generated stuff.

Badges - Here's where the badges status, Steam account leveling, and card stuff are located.

Inventory - This will lead to the Inventory where one has their items, like cards, emotes, backgrounds, and refines stored.

Library - Here's where your collection of games, software, DLCs, and music are located.

Settings - Now this is mostly for your phone, but here's where one can customize things, like the ringtone for the notification alerts, decided what the Start Screen should display, go offline, or just plain sign out.

Main Profile

This is a cropped, tiny example of how your profile will look like on mobile.

The mobile will only show the bare minimum important stuff, like Groups, if you're log in, playing a game, and your friendlist. Not your snazzy background.

You can customize your profile however you wished to, even on the go.

Online Status (like if you're log in, offline, playing a game, etc.)
Profile Awards (If ya have one)
Badges
Friends
Groups
Games
Inventory
Screenshots
Reviews
Artwork (If ya can draw, even doing a stick figure or SFM is art).
Guides (If ya make them. Note: The ones that are not publish yet won't show up if ya log out).
Videos

The bottom half is where one can see the games and/or software that are recently used, the achievement progress, if ya made stuff for these games/ softwares (like reviews and fanarts). Also, the comments that people will leave at the bottom of your profile.*

* If there's any bullying, harassment, and other nasty things, just go to your settings and toggle on who will comment.

Here's the list of the much needed apps that work in conjuncture with the official Steam app.

Honorable Mentions

These apps are way more optional, just extra fun, and/or doesn't pretain to the Steam app but are just as important.

Last Pass and/or It's Rivals - To give your Steam account an extra layer of protection and worth the money, since there's rare cases of hackers bypassing Steam's safe guards and hijacking accounts.
DOTA Pro Circuit - This mobile app just keeps track of the esports scene.
Ubisoft Connect app - Just for Ubisoft Connect/Uplay intents and purposes. Also, to keep track of the Ubisoft games. It doesn't have much stuff, if you're comparing it to Steam and the Battle Dot Net official apps, but it gets the basics done.

Note: I only gave the Steam app 6/10 rice rolls, because this is a clucky and water down mobile phone version of the main website.

I love this app, it's definitely Steam on the go when it comes to browsing the store.

Cons

I heard that the iPhone versions of the Steam official mobile app is worst, the Apple phones will get certain features late or won't get them at all. Unlike the desktop site and the Android app.
The app forgets that it's a MOBILE APP at times and certain parts, it acts as if I was using the actual Steam site's desktop mode.
Ya need other apps, like Steam Chat, to get the full experience.
This is a bit of an honorable mention category, but releasing the official Steam app quietly on the Windows Phone. This causes people that are left in the dark to download third party apps.
