LitLadᵒᶰᵉ - Small Human Hairstyle pack für Lads and Dads


  • These are hairstyles I made for personal use and decided to share.

  • What's in the pack? 17 different styles (or more?) Each has 2 flavors: Dad and Lad.

  • In case you don't see updates (currently none) in game, unsub from this mod, then resub to it.



How to set earplugs colours or make them vanish?

Each of these styles bring (an optional) earplug/earring. Default colour (it`s the game, not my choice) is usually pink. Its colour is tied to underwear/undie options. Then whether you switch undie options to your likes if you want your toons to wear them, or if you don`t want to see them, just pick black, which is usually the colour that makes them vanish, or any colour that matches skin or hair tones. Examples below.

Disclaimer

  • As with any (or at least most) mod(s), it's always recommend to back up your files before subbing to a new mod.

  • As with any (or most) hair mods, if you have a toon which uses any modded hair (NPCs included, game likes to show off new stuff too heh) and you uninstall said mod, such files will be missing and those toons will be rended without hair (again, files missing.) Ways to fix are reinstalling such mod (re-sub) or replacing the gap with a custom hair-like hat - this customization guide by HΛDES is a good one on the matter.

Compatibility
  • Original game;

  • FU;

  • Other modded worlds? Probably yes - unless they modify the original game files structure;

  • Other hair mods? Must work, unique IDs here and it only adds them - doesn't replace anything;

  • This mod works on client-side, meaning that your toon will be rendered bald to your friends, unless they sub to the same mod.

Yay! GLad you like em! Thank you for your words. Its really noice knowing that people other than me like them, and the even better part is seeing that these tiny pixels I posted have some use, hence a reason to exist. Many cheers! :D

(And as Ive mentioned below or anywhere else, Im becoming really intriguided about the other original races, like Hylotl. I wanna do something for them, maybe Ill have to (re-)read their lore depicturing on my mind so that I can get the logic behind their styles -

In a fashion, humans, avians and apex(es) are then much easier to read. And yesh, holidays coming, maybe humans might get a second pack, apex as well, avians their propre one, then... yeah, i feel like hylotl should be the next. florians idea is simpler, but drawing plants and giving them textures is something (since IRL i dont do anything related to drawing and stuff, although have always liked to.) Welp, nough aight? Cheers!

Ah yeah, forgot to mention that on the Apex mod, due to time limitations, I picked similar human styles that I considered adding something to the race. They (maybe not only them, but almost all of them) really deserve(d) more love. I'll see if I can keep up working on them and maybe on the other vanilla races too. :)

Also, Apex really do need some more variety when it comes to beards, don't you think? I think they work similar to hair-tuff, then if so, holidays are coming, and I might do something about that too.

Welp, yes, that would be possible. On my end there are two main issues though: 1) currently working hard IRL, still could do that even though on a very slow pace; 2) original files were stored on a disk/pc which died - id have to grab stuff from this very mod here and make it do with what we have left here.

It does make sense being Apex the next, but weirdo here kept up with Avians (there 2 styles for em in this pack, kinda easter egg)
