WELCOME TO QUASAR!

Quasar is a paradise island with a varied topography composed of mountains, lakes and plains, bathed by a sea of crystal clear waters and surrounded by a great barrier reef.
It is based on the heightmap of St. Maarten & St. Martin Island in the caribbean sea, but I have made some changes in the terrain, to make it more playable, and in the landscape to add more details and a different look from the real island.

4 Ship connections.
4 Plane connections.
0 Train connections.
Suitable area for building: 52%.
Trees: 145K.
There are not many natural resources around the map, but there are areas for each specialization that I believe is sufficient.

VISUAL/APPEARENCE

I have used Theme Mixer by TPB, mixing the following map themes:
Tropical HD by Mark Fire for the grass and water textures.
Natural Beauty by Turtle for everything else.
To the color correction I’ve used:
Better Tropic LUT by Avanya
Base theme: Temperate.
Clouds & Fog Toggler with all fogs and clouds disabled.

NOTE: I’ve decided not use assets/props to make the reef because it is so big that it would almost reach the game limit of the buildings if I tried, so I just detail the underwater terrain.
