Ahh what you need son is the no more purple pollution mod. It's the options for that mod you can turn of the game effect of the dead leaves around water and pollution. Just remember there pal that the game thinks this clump of grass is tree leaves..so just pop over the the bloody penguins workshop and sub to that wonderful mod.

@pdelmo BUG: When the grasses "die" their LOD disappears with it. I have some as a marsh, and the flooded grass turns brown (which is neat) but there is no LOD for it either. Can you fix this, please?
