History
Prototypes of the BTR-82 and BTR-82A were assembled in December 2009 at the Arzamas machine-building plant (AMZ). The vehicles were tested in the winter of 2010, after which they were put into service. In 2011, some parts of the southern military district were re-equipped with the BTR-82A.

my one issue is that the gun turret is unable to turn fully because it hits the seats. if that was fixed then this would be perfect
