The Daelaam, also known as the Protectorate, are bound together by the Khala, an energy which joins all their thoughts and emotions. They are known as the purifiers because they believe theirs is the only way and will try to eradicate anyone who is not one of them.

Yes, any factions which say ZERG, PROTOSS, or HYBRID at the top of their descriptions use alien technology
