CAS ver2

A crew alerting system with three alert types, warning (red), caution (amber) and advisory (white).

New alerts will be prioritised over older alerts, with warnings before cautions, and cautions before advisories. Interacting with the monitor will acknowledge any active alerts.

Warnings and cautions will generate a pulse output signal for a buzzer or other miscellaneous use.

- accepts a composite input utilising boolean channels 2 to 32. True is active, false will reset.
- Your vehicle will be require a microcontroller which outputs composite data based on your own needs (up to 31 channels), see configuration.
- any monitor or HUD
- (optional) buzzer

- connect the composite input carrying the data from your vehicle to the composite data network input
- connect the composite input from the monitor or HUD being used for the CAS display
- connect the video output to the monitor / HUD
- (optional) connect a buzzer to the annunciator output

- this microcontroller has 31 configurable input channels for display to the CAS video output, each with three properties:
- 'caption' set's the alert on that channel to off, advisory, warning or caution
- 'text' set's the text to be displayed with that alert
- 'composite' set's the input channel (2 to 32) associated with displaying the above alert
