Blimp/Zeppelin Airship with Autopilot Chassis Example

A chassis for you to build your own blimps, zeppelins, steampunk and fantasy airships.

This chassis is optimized for airships. Bouyancy is stabilized to always points up so no drifting while pitched and tilted. Additionally it has an airship appropriate control scheme, and a basic autopilot.

**EDIT: If you run into stability problems, first check if fuel tanks are balanced around the Center of Mass, that is usually the problem

Note that because it has no augmented stability from thrusters, the vehicle built using this chassis needs to be statically and dynamically stable. Meanining that the center of mass should be directly below the lifting device, and center of air resistance and center of thrust should also be balanced as much as possible to reduce pitching.

Recommend putting engines on last, so they can be more easily balanced.

The highest tested vehicle mass for this configuration is 20,000 mass units, but can go a lot higher.
