Too lazy to change thumbnail, for version v3.8.* (probably won't require an update for newer versions)


This mod increases the change of a crisis happening and enables multiple crises to coexist at the same time.
Be sure to select All crises when creating a galaxy, otherwise only one crisis will spawn.


Overrides events/crisis_trigger_event.txt



Details on the crisis trigger:

The game rolls a dice to spawn a crisis every 5 years and can spawn a crisis if:
1) a specific ancient digsite event happened (doesn't require years >= endgame_years)
2) has Galactic Threats Committee / Extradimensional Experimentation (doesn't require years >= endgame_years)
3) someone has Jump Drives / Psi Jump Drives technology & years >= endgame_years
4) at least 25 years passed since years >= endgame_years

In addition these conditions must be true:
1) a crisis hasn't spawned recently (changed from 12 -> 7 years)
removed: there isn't a crisis faction present at the moment

Unlocked Armaggeddon and Purge Policies - Unlocks Armageddon and Purge policies for most NON-AI empires

@Mr.BucketHead Every vanilla Crisis can spawn as long you set the settings to "All" prior to creating a new game (new game is required for mod), on vanilla, crisis spawn one at a time and at end-game (unless specific conditions are met and they spawn as early as early mid-game), this mod allows you to spawn them alot earlier and all around the same time, I haven't tried these types of mods yet but I'll have fun see them kill each other lol. (Unless they come for me and I'll be F)

Hi, I've uploaded a new version and updated the description, including 3 pictures which should help understanding what this mod does.
Unfortunately, I haven't found anything related to Jump Drive technology in crisis trigger events (maybe it's modified elsewhere?).

It's technically possible to still not get any crisis, just like in vanilla, though the chances are a lot lower and it's possible to only have one crisis happen.

This mod changes only the triggers for endgame crises, and AFAIK becoming the crisis (from Nemesis DLC) is independent and should still spawn endgame crises.

If I choose "Become the Crisis" will the other crises still spawn? What about mid-game crises?
