Modular Buildings - Laboratory

This addon is designed to equip you with the tools needed to build your own Laboratory in the Eden editor from scratch! The mod itself is made up of assets and objects to provide a great amount of detail, customisation, and freedom to the mission maker. It's up to you to create your own building using the tools we've provided. Think of it like IKEA but for building interiors. Some assembly required...

Please bear in mind, this addon is a WIP build that has been released early for a mission. It has only a fraction of the planned objects/assets, and skeleton code that we intend on tidying up as we go.


Currently Implemented:
- High quality Walls, Floors and Ceilings in different sizes (5m x 5m), (5m x 10m), (10m x 10m) and (5m x 15m).
- Laboratory Benches (WIP) some textures need to be reworked.


The process of placing down multiple wall or ceiling sections can be sped up drastically by using the feature built into the Eden editor called “Deep copy and paste”. This can be done on already placed objects, and achieved by holding [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [C] to do a “deep copy”, then [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [V] to paste.

You will notice that the duplicated object has been placed in the exact same position as the old one, essentially clipped inside itself. You can now use the Translation Tool by pressing [2] or selecting it from the bar at the top of the editor to move it out in the correct orientation.

This process allows for large straight sections of wall to be placed very quickly, without the need for grid alignment.
