REDFIN-S | Slim APN Radar-Guided Anti-Air Missile

Introducing the REDFIN-S Slim APN Guidance Missile. REDFIN-S is a slimmed down version of the original REDFIN, designed for use in compact launchers and on aircraft, at the cost of reduced damage upon impact.

REDFIN is a culmination of several days of work with a ton of help from the Stormworks Radar & Guidance discord team, especially SinisterMinster and MSTR_Unchained. REDFIN-S is made possible because of their help.

There are no cheats, no transceiver on the target, it's only radar, and using true APN guidance to home in on the target. Designed for short-range surface-to-air and air-to-air engagements. Includes a test-bed launch gantry.

Additional Notes:
-Functional range of 1km. Target must be visible/active for radar.
-Rapid target movements can evade missile. REDFIN likes targets that don't make rapid changes in direction or velocity.
-REDFIN will dumb-cruise straight until it finds a target, so it is possible to extend its range beyond 1km, but not by much in its current config.

How to Use:
A basic gantry/launch vehicle has been included for your reference. Aim in general direction of target, tilt up, and fire. That's it. For best results, wait until the target is on a steady course, and configure the missile's FCU microcontroller drop-down options to suit your target and scenario.

Known Issues:
Radar in Stormworks is janky and has some major limitations. REDFIN is far from perfect because of that, and offered as-is. Inspired players are welcome to open up the hood and apply new methods to improve REDFIN's target acquisition and missile guidance. I'd love to see what you come up with!
