The specific problem is the Genesis patch got merged into the main mod.
At a guess you'd probably have to roll back to a previous version (if you stored a previous file with the later tweaks and no Genesis changes then great!)
Or if you're only running on a single rolling file you probably need to manually remove every change made for Genesis.
I know enough to have made my own fix patch for Mongrel but had no idea that certain other squads going cats-only was due to missing Genesis data.
@CaptianBragd Yes it is mostly intended behavior although I may remove it in the update, I don't love how its implemented. If I can figure out how to keep not starving NPC's from eating corpses i will do that instead.
