gm_cutthroat_kitchen (Food Network)

Cutthroat Kitchen was a delightfully chaotic cooking competition on the Food Network, hosted by the madlad himself Alton Brown, of Good Eats fame. Among other things. Four chefs competed to win up to $25,000--on average--and the name of the game was to purchase sabotages with your potential prize money to make your competitor's cook time a lot harder--and your cook time a lot easier. Of course, things could always go either way, and some contestants even chose to not purchase any sabotages. Risk it for the biscuit~


I am very much a fan of Cutthroat Kitchen, I enjoyed the show and its host very much, but I'm sad that the Food Network declines to run any reruns of it at all. But in the time they did play reruns, I made this map. This is my own recreation of the set from the show; I tried my best to make it accurate.

Map features included:
- The whole of the main set area
- An explosive canister in place of the liquid nitrogen container, because... explosions, I guess
- A working dumbwaiter that also includes a button to incinerate nearly anything tossed into the bottom of the shaft
- An unstocked pantry with doors that open whenever a player is nearby/inside it
- A button to fix the parenting on the door models if you happen to create and load a Gmod save here
- A soundproof chamber

The kitchen is, for the most part, not stocked, so you can build your own little culinary shop of horrors. Use it throughout your play sessions as you see fit.
