Boeing 314 Dixie Clipper (Water Bomber) (1:1 Scale)

Real Boeing 314 Dixie Clipper was scrapped in 1950 like most of the flying boats of the era. However Hawaii Mars II, another giant flying boat, wasn't scrapped but converted to forest fire fighting aircraft. Similar to that, I converted the Boeing 314 to a fire fighting amphibious aircraft.



There are few new instruments for the beaching (landing) gear and water tank.

- Retractable beaching (landing) gear
- 5300 gallon (20000 liter) water tank and wide array of water sprayers for aerial fire fighting operations
- Small motorized dinghy with hoist system in the cargo area
- Two auxiliary fuel tanks in the cargo area with fluid winches
- Coulson Flying Tankers livery
- Separate passenger compartments converted into medical, cargo, survivor and bedroom compartments.

0. You can spawn it at any large dock area, because wings are folded at the start.
1. Magnetos 1-2-3-4 ON
2. Starters 1-2-3-4 (No need to hold)
3. Instrument lights (Optional)
4. Unfold wing (won't unfold if something blocks it)
5. Throttle increase (UP key)

Note1: If your CPU is weak I recommend dock at Isle of Donkk gives best physics FPS at spawn.
Note2: Auxiliary engines are powering the buoyancy helper propellers when on water, electric generators and fluid jet on takeoff.
Note2: Always try to take off against wind.
