There is an improved version of this map here:

A recreation of the HL2:Episode 2 map ep2_outland_06 with Vr in mind. All geometry was redone from scratch and all areas were brought up to the Source 2 standard of detail.

It's not a 1:1 port, there are changes to facilitate VR gameplay, and I took some liberties with visual design of the map.

Nope, killing those zombies did not make a difference :( - I even managed to walk back to the other side of the bridge in case the car to escape was there, but it wasn't. And the map won't let me jump to the disconnected part of the bridge. It was lots of fun being there anyway! Cheers!

Thank you for sharing this nice map AsG_Alligator. I was able to recall the 1st time I had been to those places back in the day with the pancake/original version. It was quite an experience revisiting in VR!
I don't know if I found a bug, but after crossing the bridge to where the car to escape with was in the original version, nothing happens, and is not clear what to do nor where to go. I don't know if it had anything to do with that, but I decided not to kill the zombies in the toxic area before climbing up to the bridge area. I guess I'll load a save before that and kill the zombies and see what happens.
