These mods will enhance the campaign without making drastic departures from vanilla . Vanilla enhanced or expanded is a good way to view this collection of mods. Some of my favorite mods work just fine in multiplayer campaigns but, unfortunately, many of my favorite mods did not work correctly in multiplayer campaigns. I have created coop multiplayer versions, the 'Lofty Ambitions - Multiplayer CoOp Compatibility' versions of all my favorite mods that did not work correctly in multiplayer campaigns. Please read the details to learn about the incredible modders who made the base mods, all credit goes to them and their excellent work.

I know the multiplayer campaign community is small, but I hope this helps some other players out so you can play Three Kingdoms with a friend!

All mods here will work just fine in single player as well.


ARTWORK EXPANDED -
MTU Unofficial Art Only and Puzzle Illustration 1.6 add an incredible number of quality character art (currently 350+). Alternative Faction Flags and Colors enhance the major factions by giving them dramatic banners including a unique animal and and a unified color scheme to help identify the faction.


GENERALS EXPANDED -
Havie Dynamic WuXing and Improved Skill Trees enhance the difference between generals by giving each general a new skill tree including 30 new skills, skills can now have multiple ranks. No longer will all generals of each color have the exact same skill tree! MTU compatibility patch for Haive Skills is included so that all new MTU characters also have the new skill trees! Dynamic WuXing expands on what impact a general's stats have, including very low stats. Lu Bu's cunning is very low, so expect him to have negative impact on your army supplies and your ranged ammo. Low authority generals will suffer increased army upkeep cost and lower moral. Picking your 3 generals in an army now need to compliment each other's strengths and weaknesses.


GENERALS RELATIONSHIP EXPANDED -
Donkyworld Guanxi Overhaul balances keeping generals happy. In the base game I've never seen a general leave a player, it is simply too easy to keep all your generals happy. Adds new negative and positive relationship modifiers. Mostly the interaction will be trying to balance a high level general who may be excellent on the battlefield, but who wants to be promoted into a minister position that they are terrible at (incredible interaction with Havie's Dynamic WuXing here). Placing generals that dislike each other in the same army or nearby each other will see them start to bicker with each other.


CAMPAIGN FACTIONS EXPANDED -
All Factions Act as Majors will give an enhanced campaign world by mixing up who will be the major powers. Maybe in your game Han Sui will crush Cao Cao, or that Han Fu may become the powerhouse in the north. Helps keep the end game fresh instead of always having a Wu and Wei be the other 2 kingdoms.


BALANCE TWEAKS AND BUFFS -
Better Gate Pass improves the gates by dropping AI movement range around them, preventing the AI from removing the zone of control on gate passes and just walking right by on the campaign map. Allows AI to attack gates without siege equipment to allow gate battle assaults to actually happen (AI would just starve you out every time). Guv's Additional Unique Units Mod adds a little extra flavor to all of the factions by adding 1-2 more unique units. Guv's Minor Intimidation Changes Mod is a small buff for AI Dong Zhou so he generates a little more Intimidation and his faction doesn't collapse immediately.
