What does the scripting do?

For further clarification ('cause I was wondering), this mod only adds the darkened characters shown- able to be placed on background blocks. They are crafted in the avali nanolathe's decorations tab.
As far as I can tell, the 'script' added is just the lettering- there doesn't appear to be any lua scripting here.

It adds signs that allow for a scripture. You can spell out any word using it, but it doesn't show up if you do not have the main Triage Mod.
