6 Cylinder in-line Marine Diesel Engine

This is a marine diesel engine, modelled after various marine 6 Cylinder in-line diesel engines. The engine can provide a more aesthetically pleasing look to the engine room of your ship. It houses two large diesel engines inside, carefully hidden away. The model features a working flywheel, turbocharger, engine mounts, visual gearbox, valve covers and more.

The engine is fully functional, just attach the fuel, exhaust and air lines. The engine features a local control stand with readouts for engine RPS, temperature, fuel and coolingwater pressure, along with overspeed and high temperature alarm. The engine can be started and stopped from the local control, as well as from a different position with an additional key or toggle button.

The engine is meant to be placed in the bottom of your ship as cooling consists of integrated fluid slot port which make seawater cooling possible.

*Note*
The PID settings for the engine RPS are based on my own ship, experience may vary with the intended use of this engine. You may want to adjust the PID values to suit your needs for the engine.
A throttle lever should be added to power up the engine when you want to use it for propulsion. When nothing is connected to the power, the engine will idle at about 4.5 RPS. When connected to a propeller a throttle lever must be connected to the engine controller to further power the engine and keep it from stalling.
