Boeing 2707 SST Concept Plane

The Boeing 2707 was a concept aircraft designed as the USA's response to the Concorde. One of the first planes to be designed with a glass cockpit, the 2707 project was cancelled in 1971 due to noise and environmental concerns. There were three design iterations: the -100, with a swing wing, the -200, with canards, and the -300, without the swing wing.

I tried to make this plane as realistic as possible. To spawn the plane, create a custom mission or use an edited workbench. I recommend turning vehicle damage off, as the flaps are sometimes damaged during operation of the swing wing mechanism.

Startup Procedure
1). On the F/E panel, turn on the battery and the exterior power switches.
2). Turn on the engine fuel cutoffs and fuel pumps.
3). Turn on the engine power and engine gen switches.
4). Turn on the main hydraulic system and the engine hydraulic pumps.
5). Turn on the utility hydraulic system.
6). Turn on the two thrust spoiler switches and then turn on the four engine starter switches.
7). Turn on the bleed air switches and the PACK.
8). Once the engine RPS levels have stabilized, disable the two thrust spoiler switches.
9). In the pilot's seat, turn on the F/D system and turn on the roll damper.
10). Lower the droop nose, and set the altitude hold to 300 feet.

Takeoff Procedure
1). In the pilot's seat, throttle up to 100.
2). Once the plane is flying, activate the altitude hold. Wait for the plane to stabilize, and then retract the landing gear, raise the droop nose, and retract the swing wings.
The plane is now configured for flight. You can ascend to your cruise altitude and throttle up to 195.

Safety Systems
-Extending the swing wings at over 330 knots activates the Master Caution alarm
-Activating the altitude hold with the throttle under 30 activates the Master Caution alarm
-While in flight, the aircraft prohibits the pilot from throttling down below 23 for safety reasons
