George Steele

George "The Animal" Steele wrestled for the WWWF (and later WWF) throughout the 70's and 80's, initially as a crazy heel who spoke in short, sometimes nonsensical utterances.

Steele turned face in the 80's and notably became obsessed with Miss Elizabeth during a feud with Randy Savage. He later began carrying a stuffed animal named Mine to the ring with him.

During his matches, the hairy Steele was known to bite opponents as well as turnbuckle pads, the latter action often littering the corners with chewed up foam.
