THE MISSILES HAVE BEEN SET FOR USE ON JETS, THEY WILL NOT WORK ON HELICOPTERS




The MiG-21BIS is a fairly well-known high-speed "tube with triangles stuck to it" built by the USSR and then the Russian Federation since 1959 and continues to operate 6 decades after it's maiden flight. The "BIS" variant was noted for advancements in the jet engine as well as new avionics.

Unfortunately this thing cannot reach supersonic speeds due to it not being heavy enough, weird right? However, what this thing lacks makes up for with 4 AGM-16 "Squirrel" High-precision 3KM Ranged radar guided missiles, the final development of several series of missiles made since I started. To operate the missiles, see below:
MUST READ, How to use the missiles:

- First, press "Master arm" to allow the use of the missiles.
- Missile fire buttons go from 3 to 6.
- The missiles allow for deviations in aiming at the target, you do not need to aim directly at the target however it's recommended for best hit accuracy.
- DO NOT POINT UPWARDS WHILE FIRING THE MISSILES! Don't ask why, they appear to really hate it.
- Maximum engagement range: 3km
- Miniumm engagement range: 300m.
- They can be used for air-to-air roles with limited success, if you're chasing an aircraft there's a much higher chance of them hitting as they cannot lead their targets.

How to start & take off:
- Press "Main Battery", "Avionics", "Main Generator" and then "Engine Starter" in order and wait for the engine to start.
- On your right side, press "Taxiing motors" and move your aircraft to the runway (WASD).
- When on the runway, press "Brakes", "Nose Wheel Steering Locks" and turn off "Taxiing motors."
- To your left, press "Switch to throttle" and throttle up.
- Turn off your brakes, hold up arrow and you should take off with flying colours.
