Matt's Mods: Adjustable Coolers
Now compatible with Spaced Out!

Adjust the cooling power of your Thermoregulators and Thermal Aquatuners
Get the closer to what you actually need or throw them in reverse!

This mod makes a few changes:
  • Both the Thermoregulator and Thermal Aquatuner can now be adjusted to cool between 20C and -20C.
  • The Thermoregulator now consumes a maximum of 340W and the Thermal Aquatuner to 1700W due to an increase in total cooling power, but power consumption will scale with temperature settings.
  • NEW Both the Thermoregulator and Thermal Aquatuner can now run in "reverse-cycle" mode, pulling in heat and pushing it into the fluid passed through.

This mod should be safe to add to an existing save and all coolers will initialize to their vanilla values. Removing this mod will reset both buildings to their default value (including those running in reverse!).

@n3mes1s You must have missed the fact that they are... ADJUSTABLE...

You know... UP to 1700W. The more power you use the more heat they transfer.

It was ridiculous in vanilla already, and you raise it? lol.

1700w... omfg. Imagine that you are going to use three of em...you would need another power cable as well to substain that... dude. Lower the power requirements. Are insane.

@berry that happened to me, some threads recommend different solutions, but the one that did for me was to validate files -> uninstall -> reinstall the game.

Game crashes when trying to make a thermoregulator out of gold. Control works as should otherwise.
