Figured out what it was. It was THIS mod:

There is an option in it to repaint the reefer coolers on the trailers to try and match an applied skin, and I was using that option, and so your skins and this particular mod don't like each other.

Taking this mod out got it working correctly. You could work with the author of that mod to make your skins compatible, as it seems to be a very popular mod as well.

Rats... well here's screenshots of my load order. I just took out also the two wheel and tire packs seen in this load order and the crashing is still happening...
