Stuff I use for Heroes of Hammerwatch Co-op to make for a more enjoyable experience, with reasons provided for each. I recommend creating a new profile in HoH using this mod config specifically.

No Soul Link: Soul Link sucks, period. Co-op is kinda lame when a good chunk of it is spectating because you're dead and no one wants to Soul Link with you. Res with 50% health spent is a better mechanic, which is what this mod provides.

Better Progression: The start is a slog. Getting your initial gold/levels/ore is WAY too grindy. This makes the start far faster and better.

Where's That Button: Screw finding the buttons in Act 2. Seriously.

Imps On Map: Cause when an Imp's around, I'd like to know where.

Connect and Reconnect: Cause I know some folks have connection issues sometimes.

Highlight Secrets: Less time trying to figure out where they are.

Start with Old Map: QoL. Know the floor layout without having to hope for a Map drop.

No Mercenary Permadeath: Enjoy merc mode WITHOUT the permadeath aspect. Note that cheats will be needed to earn legacy points if you want to buy Cosmetics. tilde key, type legacy, tab to display full command, enter legacy value you want. Quit game and re-open to remove "Cheats enabled" message.

Local Statues: Statues are pretty crucial to one's build, so why DOES ONLY THE HOST'S GET USED?! Now each player gets the benefit of their *own* town's statues in multiplayer. Viva la Optimal Builds!

Drink Presets: Use a full set of drinks with one click instead of five!
