Compact junction

This junction was designed to be compact, yet capable of handling a decent amount of traffic leaving the highway.

It may not appear compact due to its relatively long stretches of road running up to the junction, but all ramps and parallel roads were placed close to their respective main roads, keeping the actual footprint down.

Traffic exiting the highway enters the perpendicular 6-lane road at the proper side, so it doesn't have to cross other lanes of traffic.

Vehicles wanting to turn left onto the highway do need to turn across oncoming traffic though, which is why this junction favors traffic exiting the highway.

This junction works best when used together with a traffic manager such as TM:PE to make sure vehicles follow the intended paths through the junction.
