If you want only the real Dark Souls board game with no gameplay-altering extras whatsoever, this is THE BEST way to play that game, as intended by the original developers. Just enjoy a true version of Dark Souls: TBG with all official content from Steamforged games and the full potential of tabletop simulator.

This board is currently a work in progress, and I welcome your feedback.

Thanks to @Jericho, this game is now FULLY SCRIPTED! All encounter cards have a button which will spawn necessary miniatures and cards to the right! A huge update, and a kind contribution from a fellow player and community member to this labour of love.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS

The bonfire area is selectable with right click, and it is made up of FOUR assets: the bonfire itself, the spark counter under the bonfire, the soul counter, and the firelink tile. You can copy and paste each of these assets if you really want to add new bonfires after boss fights.

The bonfire has 4 states, which can be toggled by using the numbers on your keyboard (1-4) in order to make the bonfire tile match with the map tiles that you wish to select for your game. The spark counter and bonfire may need to be unlocked and moved in order to align properly with the Darkroot bonfire tile. Not necessary, but I have allowed all of these assets to remain selectable for perfectionists.

The group inventory (as well as the discard pile) are to the right of the bonfire tile. Each player has their own inventory underneath their character sheet as well, for maximum organization.

The squares that read "YOU DIED" are your character sheets. Zoom in to read instructions on how to select your characters by mousing over the sheet and using the number keys on your keyboard (or by right-clicking and selecting state). Once your character is selected, press the X in the top right-hand corner of the character sheet in order to have the character model and items pulled out for you.

You can open the table control panel on the bottom right hand side of the table by clicking the white button to open the drawer. Select different playing surfaces. The default leather setting is recommended for the ideal mix of contrast and depth perception.

Use cameras by holding shift and pressing numbers 1-6. These will take you to your character sheets and to the assets at the top of the board, as well as a zoomed out view if you want. Use the spacebar to return to the area in front of the bonfire tile. As your game moves further away from the original bonfire, you may want to press "ctrl+0" in order to save a new camera 0, which will be the new camera setting on your spacebar.

Rulebooks and a rule insert for quick reference are available in pdf format on the sides of the board. Broader gameplay expansions on the left, mega boss expansions on the right.

All enemies and encounters, as well as treasures, map tiles, boss tiles, invaders, phantoms, and bosses are at the top of the board, organized with models and their respective cards lined up above/below one another. Most of the time, you can just pull the card and the figurine will be in a bag. If not, just grab the figurine afterwards. This only applies to bossed and phantoms; I didn't do this with regular enemies because you need to use them too frequently and sometimes you may need 3 enemy figurines but only 1 card for that encounter is necessary, for example.

Just note that the models are virtually all lined up with their respective cards, with the cards being sequenced below each respective model in a mirrored order.

You have several different options for chests, barrels, gravestones, crystal lizards, and mimics. Choose whichever ones you please. For chests, I recommend grabbing the painted "Chest or Mimic?" models, and shuffle the bag before you pull one out in order to randomize your chance of encountering a mimic.

None of the assets used are mine (other than some of the rule books), I just took the best I could find from other workshop uploads and collected all of the official content onto one board and organized the content for easy access and use.
