描述
This mod adds always-cast modifiers to all wands. There is still a small chance of seeing always-cast spells (like magic missile or nuke), but mostly it'll be things like burning trail, chaotic path, homing, etc. Always-cast multi-spell modifiers like formations or scatters will never occur. Higher-level wands have a higher chance of higher-level modifiers (like homing).

Does this alter the game's difficulty? It's unclear. Many modifiers make wands dangerous to use, so you might find a wand with good stats that has poison trail on it and decide it's too risksy.

The mod changes gun_procedural.lua, so any other mods which change procedural wand generation will likely conflict. Mods which add new spell modifiers should automatically be incorporated by this mod. I have tested this mod with Goki's things and Spellbound, and both work fine. Modifiers added by those mods will also show up as always-cast.

Note: In general, mines wands will not change, since they are generated by a different script.

wands generating with modifiers seems to be the same chance as the base game, regardless of the floor. or if i push this mod to the top of my mod load order, or bottom. i play with other mods like Goki's and Spellbound.

It's still working for me. If you want to say it's not working, I need some more information. Right now I'm suspecting that people are finding wands in the first level that don't have the modifiers, and I've already clarified both in the description and in the comments that you will not see them in the very first level. After that you should see the modified wands.

I just tested it again, and it's working as expected. The wands you find in the mines (the entry level) aren't going to change because they are hardcoded instead of procedurally generated.

Would be really cool if we could choose to increase the spawn chance of always-cast modifier by a percentage. like 100% makes it twice as likely as base game etc...
