We highly reccomend using the manual when operating this aircraft. Treat it as if it is a study level simulation, because in many ways it is.

OUR VIKING
Our Viking is the result of more than 300 man-hours of research, development, and testing. From the beginning of the project, our goal was to make the most accurate S-3B in Stormworks that we possibly could. We used the actual NATOPS manual for the aircraft, hundreds of photos, and dozens of hours of pilot testimonials to assemble our recreation. As far as we are aware, every flight-critical switch is simulated in our aircraft. Our Viking is filled to the brim with every system that we could fit, to the point where we ran out of space. We're extremely proud of what we've accomplished and we hope that the community enjoys it as much as we do.

Our S-3 can be equipped with an Aerial Refueling Store but does not come equipped standard with one, due to the imbalance it causes during normal flight. If you wish to use the D-704 Buddy Store with our Viking, you can find it here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2083969056.

It also can drop air-launched torpedoes, but no promises the seperation will be smooth. There's quite a few issues when it comes to weapon seperation, as they have so much drag, but they're there.

THE S-3
The Lockheed S-3 Viking, Introduced into United States Navy Service in 1974, was a long-range anti-submarine warfare platform that proved pivotal in operations against the USSR and her sizable fleet of submarines. Nicknamed the "War Hoover" for the sound made by her TF-34 turbofan engines, the same one as the A-10. Equipped with large internal weapons bays, the S-3 was capable of carrying torpedoes and bombs internally. Early Vikings were a combination of analog and computer cockpits and often shared many sensors and systems with their predecessors. Our S-3B is Circa 1986, just after the Navy had started phasing the B variant with upgraded avionics into service, but just prior to the Navy beginning an all "slate-gray" paint scheme on their combat aircraft.

Later into the S-3's life, with the S-3B upgrade, came multiple benefits. The aircraft had new avionics and INS systems, allowing her to navigate safely with greater precision, launch AGM-84 SLAM Harpoons, as well as carry the D-704 Aerial Refueling Buddy Store on its left external pylon. As the US expanded into various Middle Eastern Conflicts, the S-3 even adopted a close-air-support role, carrying bombs and rockets. As the S-3 as an airframe reached it's twilight, the aircraft became famous for the support it provided with aerial refueling.

FEATURES
- Highly Realistic cockpit, over 150 interact-able items (counts both switches and gauges) in the cockpit.
- Accurate flight model, weapon systems, and simulated sonobouy system.
- Fully simulated two-channel dynamic hydraulic system
- Large internal weapons bay that can fit 2x modified Homing Torpedoes.
- Locking landing gear, suitable for carrier operations.

@Reggie
That's the stupidest question I've ever heard.

I'm afraid not. My current project is a little bit less complicated, but I enjoy creating these high fidelity aircraft, as close as I can get them to real life.

Cool plane though
