Multi unit remote control guide:

Remote control frequency: If one or more units share the same frequency value, they should be operated as ONE control unit and one/more controlled units.

Enable Direct passenger control: If on: headlights, heaters and passenger lights will be controlled by this unit.

Remote control: If on, this unit will be a controlled unit. That is to say that the driving controls on this unit will be operated by a control unit assuming that it shares the same remote control frequency value as a control unit.

Train number: This sets the number that can be seen above the cab and beside the passenger doors.

Locomotive facing this direction: If set to "on" in a controlled or control unit, reverser inputs will be reversed as the cab is assumed to be facing away from the other cab(s).

Remote control radio: Supplies electricity to the radio antenna to allow for multi unit operation.



Hybrid engine system:

Enable Engine A/B hybrid system: Starts the engine when the propulsion battery is below 95%.

Fuel pump: Allows fuel to be pumped into the engine.



Electric couplers:

HEP Power: Head end power, supplies electricty to train systems that are not the traction motors.

Traction motor power: Supplies electricity to the traction motors.

The four circuit breakers put together control electricity flow to/from the couplers.

Top couplers: HEP power.
Bottom couplers: Traction motor power.



Force door open: Forces the door to open irregardless of whether or not the correct number combination has been entered or not.

Lock door: Overrides "Force door open" and prevents the door from being opened.

Set front door combination: Press once to enter the value in "Keypad combination set" as the new number combination. Hold for a few seconds to reset the combination to 0.

Keypad combination set: See "Set front door combination".

Cab door keypad: The value entered here must match the value as shown in "current door combination".

Current door combination: Shows the current keypad combination required to open the door.



Emergency brakes and driver vigilance system:

Emergency brake key located in passenger cabin: If activated, it will also activate "Emergency brake application" located in the driver's cab. It will have to be deactivated in order to reset the emergency brakes.

Emergency brake application: If activated, the throttle will be forced down to "0" and the brakes will be forced to "1".

Enable driver vigilance: Enables the driver vigilance system. To be used with "Driver vigilance timer".

Driver vigilance timer: Sets the time (in seconds) before the driver has reset the timer with "Reset driver vigilance".

Reset driver vigilance: Resets the driver vigilance timer. If the "Driver vigilance warning" indicator light is activated and the "Reset driver vigilance" button is not pressed , there will be a 10 second timer before emergency brakes are applied.
