The class 397 CAF Civity EMU was introduced in 2019 by Transpennine Express as part of their 'Nova' fleet, a programme to introduce higher capacity and faster trains across the Transpennine Route. The 397 forms the 'Nova 2', intended to operate the fully electrified route from Manchester to Glasgow and Edinburgh along the West Coast Mainline.

This pack contains a Cities Skylines Railways 5 coach train with a line colourable stripe running the length of the train and a capacity of 290.

This train has a real life top speed of 200 kph (125 mph) and is thus deemed an intercity train with an in game top speed of 175 kph (IPT2 train speed setting of 28).
