Unique Ability: Hit and Run Tactics - All land combat units with the exception of Siege units can move after attacking.

Unique Unit: Siberian Tatar - Replaces Knight. Ranged attack unit which can move after attacking, ignores terrain cost and has greater combat strength in rough terrain.

Everything works. This civilization is similar to the Mongols. The unique unit is similar to Keshiks but better because they ignore terrain costs like Scouts. It's more powerful than all unique units in the base game.
The Yaranga is a fun building because it makes tundra viable for settlement. It doesn't just affect naked tundra, so if you find a location with forested tundra, furs, and so on, it can become an excellent city.
The UA allows units to attack and then withdraw. It adds some tactical versatility, especially for ranged units, since foot soldiers cannot catch up to them on flat ground.
Grade: B+. The only downside of this civ, design-wise, is that Siberian Tatars are too powerful in my opinion.

@voice of reason whoa there, don't sell Sibir short in the CBR. They're growing well and becoming a superpower on the main continent, while the Inuit are sleeping away with half their navy stuck in the arctic and their borders overrun with Blackfoot and Brazilian troops

Wow, that Siberian Tatar sounds like an amazing unit, up there with the Keshik, completely makes the civ and turns it into a powerhouse dominator mid-game I would assume. Thw ignoring terrain cost is probably my favorite part of it. Even if you're not at war, now you have a faster scout that can defend itself fairly well, haha.

As other people have mentioned, this is a very strong civ. Although I didn't get horses on my first test of this civ, the super-granary is a discount tundra Petra. No matter what victory path you're going for, it makes the game a whole lot easier, especially with Dance of the Aurora or tundra hills. The UA is also amazing for combat, especially when you have mods improving ranged units. The Siberians are very strong, and it's a wonder they didn't outcompete the Inuit in the CBR.
